UDA offers a performance opportunity for dancers who wish to compete in solo/duo/small or large groups. This team is a group of amazing performers who love the stage. These dedicated dancers spend many hours a week in various technique
classes developing their dance skills to take dance to a competitive level.
Competitons
UDA encourages a positive competitive spirit. We are proud to say that UDA dancers and parents have received many Outstanding Sportsmanship awards at past dancecompetitions. In past years students from UDA had the pleasure of participating in several regional and national competitions in Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; St. Louis, MO; Tulsa, OK; Kansas City, MO; Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; Wichita, KS; Des Moines, IA and Denver, CO.
The 2011 season was a great success as UDA received top awards and cash prizes for their excellence in performance and above all had fun! In 2011 UDA was proud to take a group of 75 dancers to the Adrenaline Dance Convention
and Workshop in Des Moines, Iowa. Several Academy students received scholarships for their excellent talent winning top awards for their performances as well as the highest honor of Best In Show.
The 2011-2012 UCC team will attend the Talent On Parade dance competition in Omaha, NE March 16th-18th, Showbiz Omaha, NE March 30th-April 1st and the Spotlight Dance Cup in Omaha, NE April 20th-22nd, as well as travel to the Adrenaline Dance Competition and Convention in Denver, CO April 13th-15th, 2012.
